WARREN, Mich. (AP) _ Universal Truckload Services Inc. (ULH) on Thursday reported a third-quarter loss of $8.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Warren, Michigan-based company said it had a loss of 30 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 42 cents per share.
The trucking and logistics company posted revenue of $375.5 million in the period.
Universal Truckload shares have risen 39% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $25.19, a decline of 15% in the last 12 months.
