Universal Truckload: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

WARREN, Mich. (AP) _ Universal Truckload Services Inc. (ULH) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $16.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Warren, Michigan-based company said it had profit of 60 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 56 cents per share.

The trucking and logistics company posted revenue of $386 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $48.1 million, or $1.78 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.39 billion.

Universal Truckload shares have climbed 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $22.89, a rise of 34% in the last 12 months.
