AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ Upland Software Inc. (UPLD) on Thursday reported a loss of $12.3 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Austin, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 50 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 52 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 57 cents per share.
The maker of cloud-based enterprise work-management software posted revenue of $55.1 million in the period, which also missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $55.4 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, Upland Software said it expects revenue in the range of $61.2 million to $64.2 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $217.8 million to $220.8 million.
Upland Software shares have risen 45% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $39.38, an increase of 21% in the last 12 months.
