The S&P 500 opened higher by 3.90 points, or 0.08%, at 4,708.44, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 48.45 points, or 0.30%, to 16,042.16 at the opening bell. (Reporting by Devik Jain in Bengaluru; Editing by Maju Samuel)
