MatchPoint NYC's USA SAMBO Open Championship Featured Participants from 11 Countries, Including a Number of International Masters of Sambo and Judo
NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / June 5, 2015 / The USA SAMBO Open Championship that was held on May 16, 2015, was a huge international success. Participants from around the globe took part in the event spearheaded by MatchPoint NYC and American Amateur Sambo Federation (AASF). "I could not be happier with how the event went," said Dmitry Druzhinsky, co-founder of MatchPoint NYC. "I was so proud to have so many global participants, including Sambo and Judo masters from all over the world."
The tournament was open to the public and all MatchPoint NC members. In all, there were participants from 12 countries, including Ukraine, Russia, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kazakstan, Mexico, Israel, Belarus, Armenia and the United States.
The winner of the tournament was Mykhoilo Mudryk, a Master of Sport in Sambo and Judo from Ukraine and World Champion.
MatchPoint NYC is familiar with organizing successful events. Earlier in May, the organization raised more that $300,000 for R Baby Foundation at their fifth annual R Baby Benefit. A number of notable guests were in attendance, including Wall Street leadership, such as Jon Bader, Bruce Richards, Rob Pohly, Jeremy Mindich, Dax Vlassis and Bill Ackman.
Since its opening, MatchPoint NYC has become the sports and fitness destination for the entire family.
