Vanda: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

WASHINGTON (AP) _ Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. (VNDA) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $8.2 million.

The Washington-based company said it had net income of 15 cents per share.

The biopharmaceutical company posted revenue of $67.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $23.3 million, or 42 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $248.2 million.

Vanda expects full-year revenue in the range of $270 million to $300 million.

Vanda shares have risen 17% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $15.41, a rise of 16% in the last 12 months.
