OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. (AP) _ Vasco Data Security International Inc. (VDSI) on Thursday reported first-quarter profit of $573,000.
The Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois-based company said it had profit of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 8 cents per share.
The internet security company posted revenue of $42 million in the period.
Vasco expects full-year revenue in the range of $180 million to $190 million.
Vasco shares have fallen slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $13.60, a fall of 22 percent in the last 12 months.
