COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) _ Vectrus Inc. (VEC) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $9.4 million.
The Colorado Springs, Colorado-based company said it had profit of 80 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 78 cents per share.
The government services company posted revenue of $359.9 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $349.3 million.
Vectrus expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.06 to $3.29 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.37 billion to $1.39 billion.
Vectrus shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $46.56, an increase of 76% in the last 12 months.
