SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (AP) _ Veracyte Inc. (VCYT) on Thursday reported a loss of $11 million in its second quarter.
The South San Francisco, California-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents per share.
The molecular diagnostic company posted revenue of $20.7 million in the period.
Veracyte shares have risen 19% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $33.21, a rise of 12% in the last 12 months.
