Verisk Earnings miss, Revenue beats In Q4

Investing.com - Verisk reported fourth quarter earnings that missed analysts' expectations on Tuesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.04 on revenue of $613.9M. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $1.07 on revenue of $613.08M. That compared to EPS of $1.34 on revenue of $570.3M (NYSE:MMM) in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $1.08 on revenue of $598.7M in the previous quarter.

Verisk shares lost 0.75% to trade at $123.50 in after-hours trade following the report.

On January 31, Mastercard reported fourth quarter EPS of $1.55 on revenue of $3.81B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $1.52 on revenue of $3.8B.

HSBC ADR earnings missed analyst's expectations on Tuesday, with fourth quarter EPS of $0.35 on revenue of $12.7B. Investing.com analysts expected EPS of $0.75 on revenue of $13.42B
