Vermont health exchange to add premium processing
Vermont Health Access website to add premium processing for individuals, not businesses
MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) -- The Department of Vermont Health Access says its website is going to be upgraded so it will be able to bill individual and family customers.
The department says upgrades to the website will begin at 5 p.m. Monday. It's expected the upgrade will take until late Tuesday morning. While the upgrade is in process, the website will be unavailable.
Premium processing for small business customers is still being tested.
Later this week after the upgrade is complete, bills will be mailed to individual and families who have selected plans through the website. The bills must be paid by check or money order by Jan. 7.
Credit card payments will not be accepted until security testing of the payment function has been completed.
