Amid divorce rumors, Victoria Beckham is simply trying her best. At the Forbes Women’s Summit in New York City on Tuesday, the 44-year-old fashion designer spoke about how she balances her almost 20-year marriage to David Beckham, four kids—Brooklyn, 19; Romeo, 15; Cruz, 13; and Harper, 6—and an international fashion company. “I try really, really hard. I try hardest to be the best mother,” Beckham said, per People. “I am trying to be the best wife and the best professional. When I get home I try to put the phone down and spend time with the children and spend time with David.”

Beckham also praised her husband—with whom she celebrates her 19th wedding anniversary next month—for his partnership. “I have the support of an incredible husband. We really are equal with everything we do at home with the children,” she said. “When I’m away he’s the one doing the school run and doing the cooking.”

Earlier this month, a spokesperson for the couple put the kibosh on any rumors of a split, telling The Sun that the rumor was “a crock of sh*t.”

Most recently, the Beckhams attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding, where they stunned in a navy dress with matching fascinator and orange pumps for Victoria and a dapper gray Dior Homme morning suit, silk satin tie, double-breasted waistcoat, an Egyptian cotton shirt, and black shoes for the soccer star. Incidentally, David’s tribute to the groom was the most-liked Instagram picture from the royal wedding.
