Few artists have been more successful at blurring musical boundaries than David Crowder. Having seen the end of his original, multi-award-winning Christian group, the David Crowder Band, in 2012, the singer-songwriter has launched a crossover solo career under the name Crowder.

Crowder’s 2014 debut album, Neon Steeple, entered at No. 8 on the all-genre Billboard 200, as well as hitting No. 1 on the Christian & Gospel albums chart. His 2016 follow-up, American Prodigal, saw similar success across the board, debuting at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and No. 5 on the Top Albums chart.

He’s also enjoyed success in country music, having performed at the 2016 CMA Festival, on the Grand Ole Opry stage, and with such Nashville luminaries as Carrie Underwood.

Yahoo Music is excited to premiere the latest video from American Prodigal, “Prove It,” for fans to get a taste of his flexible sound and vibes.

Crowder will be playing select dates starting in October in support of his album. If you’d like to keep up with his schedule, check here.
