Video premiere: See a clip from new Cadillac Tramps documentary

The new music documentary The Cadillac Tramps: Life on the Edge, created by first time director Jamie Sims Coakley (who happens to be the wife of Tramps guitarist Brian Coakley), opens October 10 in Los Angeles, and will be on-demand everywhere on October 13.

Yahoo Music is excited to premiere a sneak peek of the film, which shows off how these five men found each other in sobriety, and created a lasting musical legacy that would eventually support late lead singer Michael “Gabby” Gaborno as he fought for his life from the ravages of Hep-C.

The Cadillac Tramps influenced many iconic ’90s bands including Social Distortion, 311, Sugar Ray, No Doubt, and many more. All of these artists have all paid homage to the Tramps as one of the most influential punk-rock bands of the decade.
