SPRINGFIELD, N.J. (AP) _ Village Super Market Inc. (VLGEA) on Monday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $6 million.
The Springfield, New Jersey-based company said it had profit of 42 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 35 cents per share.
The supermarket chain posted revenue of $413.6 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $25.1 million, or $1.74 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.61 billion.
Village Super Market shares have risen 11 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen roughly 2 percent in the last 12 months.
