Vin Diesel Poses Nude With Banana Taped To Towel After Art Basel Prank

Jeff Mazzeo

Vin Diesel knows that the only way to make a splash on the internet nowadays is to show a lot of skin and follow the latest viral trend. Luckily for his millions of Instagram followers, he did both in one awesome post.

The 52-year-old shared the revealing snap on Thursday and no one, I repeat, no one saw this coming. He showed off his greased-up body but his lower half was covered by a towel that had a banana duct-tapped to it.

For those who are wondering why a star of Diesel's caliber would do something like that, the answer might not be a good enough reason but a banana that was taped to a wall in a similar fashion was sold for $120,000 at Art Basel in Miami. To make things stranger, a man walked right up and ripped the banana off the wall and ate the whole thing as people looked on.

Vin captioned his pic by simply writing, "Haha..." but he did give credit to the photographer and used #ArtBasel and #dadbod to show that he is not taking it too seriously.

Loads of fans were really excited to see this side of Diesel and decided to shoot their shot in the comments.

"Wait till i get home, remove towel and forget the banana," one excited fan wrote.

Other followers commented, "I love that picture of you. You're really hot Vin🔥," and "Chaii can you remove it please 😂😂😂😂😂."

It's A Celeb Thing Now

The star is hopping on the latest trend and he is not the only celebrity that went bananas, Brooke Shields shared a pic with a banana taped to her face!

Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa shared a picture of a bagel tapped to the wall and Gayle King shared a picture of the CBS crew with their own banana wall.

Perhaps the best banana prank, other than the original, was when Popeyes taped their highly sought after chicken sandwich to the wall.
