Visa A Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q3

Investing.com - Visa (NYSE:V) A reported third quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Tuesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.37 on revenue of $5.84B. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $1.32 on revenue of $5.7B. That compared to EPS of $1.2 on revenue of $5.24B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $1.31 on revenue of $5.49B in the previous quarter.

Visa A shares gained 1.03% to trade at $182.76 in after-hours trade following the report.

On July 17, Netflix reported second quarter EPS of $0.6 on revenue of $4.92B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $0.56 on revenue of $4.93B.
