Visa (V) Dips More Than Broader Markets: What You Should Know

In the latest trading session, Visa (V) closed at $198.71, marking a -1.33% move from the previous day. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 0.78%. Elsewhere, the Dow lost 0.88%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.26%.

Prior to today's trading, shares of the global payments processor had lost 2.37% over the past month. This has was narrower than the Business Services sector's loss of 6.43% and the S&P 500's loss of 3.4% in that time.

Wall Street will be looking for positivity from Visa as it approaches its next earnings report date. On that day, Visa is projected to report earnings of $1.86 per share, which would represent year-over-year growth of 14.81%.
