LEHI, Utah (AP) _ Vivint Solar Inc. (VSLR) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $28.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Lehi, Utah-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents.
The residential solar energy system company posted revenue of $90.8 million in the period.
Vivint Solar shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $9.30, an increase of 74% in the last 12 months.
