Volatility soared in July. It was up more than 40% during the month. On StockTwits, everyone has been talking about it. Below, we highlighted 3 charts and tables from experts across the community. Each of them  focusing on the recent surge in volatility.

1. The VIX had an enormous July. It was such a big month for volatility that it ranked on the all‒time list for biggest monthly moves. Just look at this:
