Voya Investment Management Named to Pensions & Investments Magazine's "2018 Best Places to Work in Money Management" List for the Fourth Consecutive Year

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Voya Investment Management, the asset management business of Voya Financial, Inc. (VOYA), announced today that it has been named to Pensions & Investments magazine's "2018 Best Places to Work in Money Management" list. This is the fourth consecutive year Voya has been named to the list.

"We put a tremendous amount of effort into creating an environment where our people can bring their total selves to work to make a difference for our clients, communities and colleagues," said Christine Hurtsellers, chief executive officer, Voya Investment Management. "Culture matters and is a true competitive advantage. Clients tell us they value both our strong investment performance and our team’s partnership approach, both of which are attributable to the collaborative culture we have built at Voya.”

Firms that participated were required to complete a two-step survey conducted by Best Places to Work Group. First, an employee questionnaire was completed by the firm's HR department that captured information around benefits, retirement, training and development and incentive structure, among other topics. Second, employees completed a survey that looked at several elements of being an employee at Voya—including engagement and satisfaction, work environment, career development and remuneration in addition to two open-ended questions about working at Voya.

“Our goal is to create a culture that prides itself on its diversity of people, ideas and perspectives—it’s what we want and it’s what our clients want,” said Michael Pratt, head of Human Resources, Voya Investment Management. “Clients can get similar products and services from lots of organizations, but a firm that has great ideas provides a real value-add. Great ideas come from having a culture that is diverse, inclusive while fostering openness and creativity.”

In addition to this accolade, earlier this year Voya was listed on the 2018 Disability Equality Index® as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.” Voya was also named one of the World’s Best Employers by Forbes and was named to Fortune’s 2018 list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.
