W. Africa Crude-Sonangol said to trim two offers

·1 min read

LONDON, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Angolan state oil company Sonangol on Friday was said to have trimmed two offers of October-loading crude, while Exxon was heard to have won a recent Sasol buy tender.

* Sonangol was offering cargoes of Olombendo and Girassol crude at dated Brent plus $6.50 and plus $6.90, respectively. Both cargoes were being pitched at dated plus $8 earlier this week.

* Offers for many West African grades have weakened from record highs due to slower Chinese demand and easing supply concerns, although many are still at sizeable premiums.

* Nigerian Qua Iboe was last heard this week to be on offer at dated Brent plus $6.50. Exxon was heard to have won a Sasol buy tender with a Qua cargo, one of two Exxon has in October, a trader said.

* Vitol was offering a Sept. 29-30 cargo of Gabonese Mandji crude at dated Brent minus $4.05. The offer was steadily being lowered during the day. (Reporting by Alex Lawler; Editing by Shailesh Kuber) ))
