HOUSTON (AP) _ W&T Offshore Inc. (WTI) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $24.3 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Houston-based company said it had profit of 17 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 16 cents per share.
The independent oil and gas company posted revenue of $124.4 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.90. A year ago, they were trading at $2.16.
