Wal-Mart adds to grocery list

No. 1 U.S. retailer Wal-Mart (WMT) placed Denver among cities where it's testing an online grocery delivery service. The move is seen as a swipe at Amazon (AMZN), eBay (EBAY) and Google (GOOG), which are also jockeying for position in the emerging market. Wal-Mart began testing the service in San Jose, Calif., and San Francisco 2 years ago. The test is open to Denver customers by invitation via walmart.com/togo. Wal-Mart shares rose 1.7% to 75.60. Amazon rose 1.3% to 310.49.
