How to Watch the ‘South Park: Post Covid’ Special Online for Free

Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Cartman will make their Paramount+ debut when “South Park: Post Covid” premieres on the streaming platform November 25 in time to make your Thanksgiving watchlist.

In “South Park: Post Covid,” the gang is navigating post-pandemic life. Fans will also get to see adult versions of Kyle and Stan reconnect over the phone after Covid changed everything.

More from IndieWire

“You remember when we were little as friends, we said we’d always be there for each other when things got bad?” Kyle says in a teaser released last week. Stan replies, “What do you mean? What happened?”

Fans will have to watch the special to find out the answer to that question.

“South Park: Post Covid” is the first of two exclusive events headed to Paramount+. The second special will arrive in December, although no official date has been announced.

“South Park” has kept its place as cable’s top primetime comedy every year for nearly a decade. So far, fans have watched over 2.2 billion episodes between traditional broadcasts and streaming services. The Emmy-winning animated series debuted on August 13, 1997. The show was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who are also executive produced the holiday special along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell, and Vernon Chatman are producers, and Christopher Brion is the creative director for South Park Digital Studios.

Next year marks the 25th anniversary of “South Park” but audiences can expect to see new episodes until at least 2027 due to MTV Entertainment Studios’ expansive deal with Parker and Stone.

Paramount+ is celebrating the holidays season with festive new titles and curated selections for the whole family including “A Christmas Carol,” “Bridget Jones’s Diary,” and “Serendipity.”

The holiday lineup will also feature iconic episodes of “Cheers,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Frasier,” “Happy Days,” and “The Brady Bunch,” alongside kids specials such as “A Loud Christmas,” all-new “Rugrats” holiday episodes, and seasonal episodes of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “iCarly,” “Dora the Explorer,” “Peppa Pig,” and more.
