Water Technologies Completes Sale of Commercial Atmospheric Water Generator to Distributor in Mexico for Immediate Installation

Company Ships Commercial AWG via Air Freight to Mexico

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL--(Marketwire - Sep 24, 2012) - Water Technologies International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTII), a developer of breakthrough technologies in atmospheric water production, today announced it has completed a sale for its patent pending Commercial Atmospheric Water Generator. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, GR8 Water, Inc., the Company has fulfilled a purchase order for a commercial Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) which produces approximately 300 gallons a day of pure drinking water and a home/office unit that produces 7 gallons a day. The entire Water Factory system is being air freighted to Mexico and will be installed immediately. The distributor in Mexico expects to order additional units for the home/office and commercial atmospheric water generators once this pilot program is completed.

Mexico is facing one of the worst droughts in the past 70 years according to several articles this year in the Wall Street Journal. The country is an ideal market for atmospheric water generators with high average temperatures and high relative humidity all year.

Water Technologies Inc.'s CEO, William Scott Tudor, said, "We have reached a significant milestone with the completion of our next generation home/office and commercial AWGs. We believe that our proprietary atmospheric water generators will become a meaningful solution addressing the critical shortage of clean drinking water in developing countries as well as providing disaster relief. Mexico's demand for clean water presents a significant revenue opportunity for our Company and should create real value for our shareholders."
