Wayfair is one of the largest online sources for furniture and other home goods in the world, and now it's venturing off into some new territory—one that we've desperately been asking for. The retail giant has just announced that its first ever, full-service physical storefront in the Natick Mall in Natick, Massachusetts is open as of August 21, 2019.

The Boston-based brand is bringing its mission of making furniture shopping easier to its brick and mortar debut. Home design experts will be accessible at the Wayfair Home Bar in the store to offer complimentary design consultations and advice to customers. Shoppers will also be able to digitally style a room in their home and then visualize it in virtual reality, as well as purchase physical pieces on the spot or order them to be delivered straight to their homes.

“We are pleased to open our first-ever, full-service retail store, and invite consumers to engage with the Wayfair brand and enjoy our exceptional shopping experience in this exciting new format,” said Ed Macri, chief product and marketing officer, Wayfair. “Consumers can visit the Wayfair store for inspiration, select from hundreds of items available off-the-shelf, and shop Wayfair's full catalog of 14 million products across every style and price point, all with the helpful support of trusted design consultants at every step."

“With the opening of our new retail store, we are offering our customers a new way to enjoy Wayfair’s exceptional shopping experience as we continue to transform the way people shop for their homes,” said Niraj Shah, CEO, co-founder, and co-chairman of Wayfair, in a press release. “We look forward to inviting our customers further into the world of Wayfair, welcoming them to step inside our newest shopping experience guided by the knowledgeable support and expertise of our in-store design team.”

I don't know about you, but I've already got my trip to Massachusetts in the works. If the Bay State is a little out of your way, Wayfair is also hosting pop-up shops across the country at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL, the Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC, the King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia, PA, and Tysons Corner Center in Tysons, VA. All of these pop-ups are open until October 31st.
