Tyson Fury has been urged to change his whole training team by his own father John following the heavyweight's bloody victory over Otto Wallin  in Las Vegas.

The 6ft 9in Gypsy King suffered a horror double-cut above his right eye in the third round and the wound seemed to affect his performance against the previously undefeated Swede.

Even so, Fury was awarded an unanimous decision at the T-Mobile Arena here in Las Vegas and came close to stopping Wallin late in the fight.

But John Fury, the former professional fighter and one of his son's ex-trainers, says major questions should be asked of the 31-year-old's training team.

The father questioned the shape that head trainer Ben Davison had got Fury into for the fight, his second consecutive outing in Sin City.

Speaking on BT Sport, Fury senior said: “It has gone terribly wrong in  the camp and someone is to blame. Tyson never landed a meaningful punch.

“If Tyson had been in front of one of the top three or Alexander Povetkin, he would not have won.

“I am a straight talker and that is the worst I have ever seen him.

“I have half an idea what went wrong but I cannot share it. He has done an eight-week camp but his strength and power have gone.

“He was as weak as a kitten. His body looked a lot softer tonight. He is not an 18st fighter, he wants to be body beautiful. I have seen this coming. I saw this coming.”

Now Fury Sr, who reserved praise for cutman Jorge Capetillo, says his  son's career will be in jeopardy unless he makes changes behind the  scenes.

He added: “If he keeps hold of that team, that whole team, they will  cost him his career. Ben Davison and everyone.

“The cutman is the only one who can take any credit. it was like a shark's mouth.”
