Weather OK for next SpaceX launch from Kennedy Space Center

Conditions are likely to be favorable for the Space Coast’s next launch, a Falcon 9 mission that will boost more Starlink internet satellites from Kennedy Space Center.
Weather around pad 39A, the Space Force said, will be around 70% “go” for the SpaceX rocket’s Tuesday evening liftoff. Teams are targeting 6:57 p.m. EDT.
“Primary launch day conditions are favorable for launch, although occasional Atlantic showers cannot be ruled out,” Space Launch Delta 45 forecasters said Sunday.
Conditions for Falcon 9’s booster in the Atlantic Ocean, meanwhile, were noted as “low risk.”

In the event of a delay or scrub, conditions for a Wednesday attempt improve slightly to 80% “go.”
This will mark the 54th mission for Starlink, a network of thousands of internet satellites that has contributed to a majority of the Space Coast’s launches in recent years. The area has already seen a record pace with several months left to go.
Between SpaceX, United Launch Alliance, and NASA, up to 20 more missions could fly through the end of December.
