Western Digital sales up 92%

The disk drive maker's Q2 profit jumped 38% to $2.09 a share and sales soared 92% to $3.82 bil as it quickly recovered after its factories in Thailand were hit by floods in '11. Western Digital (WDC) generated $772 mil in cash from operations in Q2.
