WESTFIELD, Mass. (AP) _ Western New England Bancorp (WNEB) on Tuesday reported net income of $3.8 million in its fourth quarter.
The bank, based in Westfield, Massachusetts, said it had earnings of 14 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $22.4 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $17.1 million, which did not meet Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $16.4 million, or 57 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $69.2 million.
Western New England Bancorp shares have fallen 15 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $8.56, a drop of 22 percent in the last 12 months.
