VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Westport Innovations Inc. (WPRT) on Thursday reported a loss of $2.6 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 2 cents per share.
The maker of natural-gas engine technology posted revenue of $82.4 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $2.99. A year ago, they were trading at $2.35.
