The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 43 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and asset impairment costs, were 24 cents per share.
The maker of natural-gas engine technology posted revenue of $80.4 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $74.4 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $97.6 million, or $1.07 per share. Revenue was reported as $224.9 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit 96 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $2.86.
