Where to watch 'Black Panther' online: These streaming sites are your pre-Oscars destinations
Mixing super heroes, memes, girl power, and social justice in one movie is just about the most 21st century theme you could think of. That movie is Black Panther, and it just became the first super hero movie to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
Aside from that, it's also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay, Achievement in Production Design, Best Original Song, Achievement in Costume Design, Best Original Score, Achievement in Sound Editing, and Achievement in Sound Mixing. YO.
This is truly a milestone — not just for Marvel or the film community, but in terms of representation as well.
If you haven't seen it yet (WYD?) and want to before the 2019 Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 24, a few of your favorite streaming services have got your back.
Netflix is streaming Black Panther it for all its members, and it can also be rented for as low as $2.99 on Vudu. (You could find it for free on one of those sketchy sites with pop-up ads, but those will be seriously low quality, not to mention potentially illegal. Trust us — you want this movie in HD.)
Netflix — watch it for free with a membership or free trial

Don't you love when the easiest option has the movie you want? Black Panther was added to Netflix in September and it's still around (and better be for a long time). If you don't have Netflix, you can sign up for a free one-month trial, and Netflix will remind you before it's over if you want to cancel.
Netflix recently upped its prices to $9 per month for the basic plan, $13 per month for the standard two-screen option, and $16 per month for the premium with four screens and Ultra HD.
Vudu — rent it for $2.99

Once overshadowed by the likes of Netflix and Hulu, Vudu is a great subscription-free streaming service that has made some serious strides with its content game in recent months. Black Panther is one of Vudu's hot hits, and it's available to rent for just $2.99 — $1 cheaper than Amazon Prime. If you're new to Vudu and this is your very first rental, you can watch for just 99 cents.
YouTube — rent it for $2.99

If you're wary of trying Vudu for whatever reason, the same $2.99 rental deal is also available on YouTube.
Amazon Prime Video — rent it for $3.99

If you're loyal to Amazon and don't care about the extra dollar, you can rent Black Panther on Amazon for $3.99. Unfortunately, it doesn't come for free even with a Prime Video Account.
