World Fuel Services: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

MIAMI (AP) _ World Fuel Services Corp. (INT) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $56.5 million.

On a per-share basis, the Miami-based company said it had profit of 86 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 87 cents per share.

The company that services ships, jets and trucks posted revenue of $9.36 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $178.9 million, or $2.69 per share. Revenue was reported as $36.82 billion.

World Fuel Services shares have decreased 32% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $29.54, an increase of 5% in the last 12 months.
