Worsening gas supply situation cannot be ruled out, says German regulator

BERLIN, June 23 (Reuters) - A worsening of the gas supply situation in Germany cannot be ruled out, said the country's network regulator, warning companies and consumers to prepare for significant price increases.

The Bundesnetzagentur added that it was monitoring the situation, which is tense, very closely after Germany's Economy Ministry on Thursday declared Phase 2 of the country's emergency gas plan. (Reporting by Rachel More and Miranda Murray)
