NEW YORK (AP) _ XCel Brands Inc. (XELB) on Wednesday reported a second-quarter loss of $1.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The New York-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, were 6 cents per share.
The brand management company posted revenue of $5.1 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit 82 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.69.
