Xencor: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

MONROVIA, Calif. (AP) _ Xencor Inc. (XNCR) on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $3.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Monrovia, California-based company said it had net income of 5 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 56 cents per share.

The biotech developing antibodies for severe autoimmune/allergic diseases and cancer posted revenue of $29 million in the period.

Xencor shares have increased 72 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 87 percent in the last 12 months.
