YOUNGSVILLE, N.C. (AP) _ Xerium Technologies Inc. (XRM) on Monday reported a second-quarter loss of $3.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Youngsville, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of 21 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 8 cents per share.
The industrial consumable products provider posted revenue of $120.3 million in the period.
Xerium shares have risen 29 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $7.27, a decline of slightly more than 2 percent in the last 12 months.
