XXXTentacion Murder Suspect Requests To Be Released From Jail

By VIBE

One of the four men who is being accused of murdering 20-year-old musician XXXTentacion has filed a petition requesting his release on bond.

Robert Allen, 22, reportedly filed a motion with Judge Michael Usan to set a bond in his case, according to court documents. The paperwork says that Allen was immediately detained and held without bond due to his first-degree murder charge. His lawyer also notes that because he is an expectant father, he should be eligible for bond.

Despite the points his lawyer is trying to make to the judge, there’s a very slim chance Allen will get what he wants in this situation. He fled the state of Florida after the ?‘s musician’s murder; officials found him a month later at his sister’s house in Georgia. This is also not the first time he’s tried to evade law enforcement officials.

XXXTentacion (born Jahseh Onfroy) was shot and killed outside of a motorcycle dealership on Jun. 18 in his home state of Florida. Allen and the three other suspects in the murder have been arrested. Just last week, Allen pleaded not guilty to the murder.

X’s music, however, continues to live on. His album ? is certified platinum, as of Aug. 7.
