An exclusive live stream event on September 19 & September 20
On Monday, Sept. 19, and Tuesday, Sept. 20, Yahoo Finance will have an exclusive live stream from the 2016 Concordia Summit in New York, NY. The special coverage includes live access to more than 20 panels over two days, as the most prominent business, government, and nonprofit leaders from across the globe gather to examine the world’s most pressing challenges and identify avenues for collaboration.
Among the highlights, Yahoo Finance editor in chief Andy Serwer will sit for a live discussion with T. Boone Pickens regarding America’s energy future on Monday at 2:20pm ET, and a one-on-one conversation with Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett on the topic of philanthropy on Tuesday at 2:30pm ET. Also on Tuesday, Yahoo Finance will live stream a keynote address from George Soros, founder and chair of Soros Fund Management and the Open Society Foundation at 9:45am ET.
To complement the live-streaming coverage, the Yahoo Finance team will also be conducting a number of VOD interviews with conference participants, including former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Senator George Mitchell, CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden, and others.
