Young Yankees fan has priceless reaction to getting Aaron Judge's autograph

At this time last season, Aaron Judge was just another face in a sea of players at New York Yankees camp. Now though, the reigning American League Rookie of the Year has the ability to create incredible lifelong memories for fans just by signing an autograph, saying hello or even flashing a smile.

That was the case before the Yankees Grapefruit League game on Friday, where one young Yankees’ fan’s reaction to Judge signing his jersey had everyone smiling.

It never gets old seeing a young fan react to a moment that will create a lifetime memory. It’s one of the true joys in sports, and it’s starting to become a regular occurrence for Judge.

He’s already created several memories this spring, including last week when a simple “Happy Birthday” brought incredible joy to another fan at George Steinbrenner Field.

Don’t get us wrong, people knew who Aaron Judge was a long time ago. He had been a top Yankees prospect. And to be honest, it’s kinda tough not to stand out a little bit when you stand six-foot-eight. His kindness is nothing new either based on everything we’ve heard. But the point is even 12 months ago he wasn’t yet a star or an attraction.

Now, coming off a season in which he set MLB’s rookie home run record, Judge is a star. He is an attraction. Many would say he’s even the face of the Yankees franchise. With that comes a lot of attention and a lot of pressure to represent the franchise and the league in the best possible way.

Just like his ability to hit tape measure home runs, Judge seems to be a natural in this role. As his stock rises on the field, it’s clear his stock off the field is doing the same.
