If you thought you'd be done with animal print by now, then we are happy to tell you, you're wrong sister.

The perennial trend, which Harriet Stewart noted has, 'been coming round on repeat since the Twenties' in an article for ELLE UK's September 2018 issue, reached its zenith in 2018.

Leopard became leader of the pack last summer, with Réalisation Par's Naomi skirt (and all its high-street iterations) on the waist of every style maven worth her salt and Victoria Beckham's AW18 coat hung from the shoulders of every editor who meant business.

During the SS19 season, snake-print reared its head on street stylers and runway models alike, while tiger print became a party-season staple over Christmas and finally Meghan Markle approved cow print with a pair of Gianvito Rossi Plexi pumps (while pregnant, no less.)

In short, animal-print is going nowhere, and now it's the zebra's turn.

We've seen it peeping out on the collar of ALEXACHUNG's denim dress, as well as gracing Ashely Williams' catwalk show, and now ASOS has delivered the first cult high-street dress of spring in the grassland-living animal's print.

ASOS DESIGN, bias cut maxi dress in zebra print with long sleeves, £55

This square-necked maxi dress looks all types of flattering to us and it's vintage-feel shape combined with is electric pink highlighted print makes it the (£55!) showstopper that it truly is.

We're going to wear with naked heels, a tiny handbag and a word barrette for our first wedding guest outfit of the season, snap for the 'gram and wait for the likes to roll in.

And if this dress isn't completely your bag (but why?), ASOS has also got these zebra beauties that tick our boxes too.
