Zendaya Denies She Gave Blake Lively and Emily Blunt Side Eye at Fashion Week

Regardless, her expression has become a new meme.

So much went down at the Michael Kors fashion show on Wednesday morning, including unintentional drama. Zendaya and Blake Lively both showed out in their best red lewks in honor of Valentine's Day and were seated next to each other in the front row. The two actors looked like the perfect pair of red roses on February 14, but when cameras captured some slightly awkward facial expressions, the Internet turned the interaction into a meme — and apparently Zendaya was not happy.

The moment occurred when besties Blake and Emily Blunt, who were seated next to each other, were having a fun time waiting for the show to start. They can be seen laughing while Zendaya, seated on the other side of Blake, was more focused on the fashion about to head down the runway. At first, the GIFs made it seem as if Zendaya was giving side eye to the other two stars. Fans began tagging Zendaya asking, "What did they do?," but the star quickly squashed any rumors of a beef before they could get too out of control. "Whoa whoa whoa y'all not bout to have me out here lookin shady😂 I was looking at the runway and asking Law when the show was gonna start," she tweeted. "Don't do me. They were super nice."

Nevertheless, her expression has been turned into a meme, despite her intentions. Clearly frustrated, Zendaya continued, "I 🗣WAS🗣LOOKING🗣AT🗣THE🗣RUNWAY🗣" and "Y'all messy that's all lmao." Finally, someone posted a picture of Zendaya laughing with Emily and Blake, clearly enjoying herself, and she responded, "Where's this video lmao," proving that a GIF often doesn't include all of the facts. Moral of the story: Don't come for Zendaya because she does not play with shade.
