Diana Nyad's incredible swim from Cuba to Florida

On her fifth try, Diana Nyad

became the first person to swims

from Cuba to Florida without the protection of a shark cage. She reached

the Key West shore on Monday, Sept. 2, about 53 hours after she began

her swim from Havana.
