Executive Chairman of Google, Eric Schmidt is the highest-profile U.S. executive to visit North Korea - a country with notoriously restrictive online policies - since young leader Kim Jong Un took power a year ago. Former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson called the trip to North Korea a private humanitarian visit.
On the second day of their trip, Schmidt and Richardson toured the facility to see demonstrations of North Korean computer technology. Richardson said his delegation is pressing North Korea to put a moratorium on missile launches and nuclear tests and to allow more cell phones and an open Internet for its citizens.
