Any insight on AAWW? Shouldn't we see it in the 70's? I get as more civilian planes get in the air (737Max) the less cargo but as long as Amazon keeps growing and they need delivery for Covid, my understanding is that AAWW is basically "sold out" for the next 2 years? They are now dipping into the desert to convert more freighters so why is the stock dropping?? Thoughts here?

Hey guys my understanding is ACMI segment is under contract with long term customers. Given I have never seen T&C and legal details to their contracts, I am unsure who will gain from pricing hike. For example is it DHL or AAWW who will gain from higher freighter pricing?

That said, multiple sources from supply chain or AirCargo publications have nonetheless observed literally doubling in charter rates so AAWW will benefit there.

I think what I wonder about as well is flexibility of planes tied to pre existing contracts. Everything also about utilization and deploying right planes at right prices (maximize revenue / block hour). AAWW pulled B737 off the shelves for Project Airbridge in sending PPE... these were not in prior contracts so they are immediately beneficial. But I think it might be correct to assume the other planes previously under contract will have muted gains.

What in the world are they doing?

The company incurred a special charge of $18.8 million primarily due to an impairment loss for the disposal of four aircraft engines and the permanent parking of two 737-400 passenger aircraft used for training purposes.

I'm up to 3100 shares now.......You can't go wrong buying them for Less than the warrants to Amazon.

There is much Turbulence in AAWW shares Add when she falls, and you will be just Grrrrreat come August because it will be Flying High this fall, or Large mutual funds will FORCE this ceo out of this company!

Today, Feb.5, 2020 this stock decided that the slide downward was enough and it up at $24.84 (up $2.13 or 9.38%). It is about time. the volume is also at 612K shares versus average of 314K at 1300 east coast time. Let's hope it holds up. My average is $25.25. What is puzzling is the volume and who is buying in. Does anyone know? thanks

Sell on the news I guess. Analysts all got it wrong and also too low for 3Q, 4Q and next year. No problem with a little consolidation after the rise over last few months. Worth $80+, minimum

There is no end in sight to my suffering with this stock. Glad to see that the company has made zero efforts with investors besides when they announced the management change and the stock dropped 5 percent that day. Great job management. Give us something before you announce that there will be a slowdown with the pilots before thanksgiving and after the new year.

POS stock. Funny how Yahoo! tries to sell their premium opinion at stock that they recommend at $48 for the year and it is at $30. And they way they do it is by setting the line higher at $1 or $2 when it hits. Genius. They could not tell us that it would fall to under $30. Why pay for the service when hindsight is 20/20. I bet they will lower their recommendations very very soon to $31 or $32 if they have not done so already.
AAWW is in a good position, but the stock is probably worth $25. The price to book is historically low but their debt keeps increasing so we have an issue that management wants to grow all the way to bankruptcy and then re-enter the market. (just my thoughts)

Buyers Friday got a Gift..........I missed it but still added some on Thursday.

This stock goes back to challenge $70, or major changes are coming to AAWW in the form of New Leadership.......This company should be posting much higher Profits than it is posting with all this New business.

This is a blood bath. We are seeing new lows every day. With the debt levels they have and the lack of business coupled with the union and the slowdown (and by reading some other boards, the way they treat the pilots), I just do not know how they can make it. When all the debt comes due, they are in the hole. They need to get bought out and something done with the contracts. I have lost over 50% in this stock that appears to have no hope of rebounding. So sad, but unless they turn the company's culture around, they will not be able to pull this company out. Management is looking at short term gains, but they are obviously wrong and it is affecting their long term plan and short term plan... and there is no plan.

This price action is ridciculous as AAWW has taken up the Asian cargo business left abandoned by UA and Delta. AAWW's planes are flying at premium prices. This stock will soar once next quarters financials are released.
