  • up up and away (hopefully).

Oil and energy stocks up. Not sure if this is why were up. Would be great if news is leaking that a RC plant is pending sale. Not counting on it.
  • "$9.40 area we may lever up to buyback more"
This statement was made by Heath on Q1 CC.
Just talk or does the company use cash for operations&divvy and also take on debt to buy back more $9.40 shares believing them to be significantly undervalued? Financially irresponsible or brilliant??
  • It's been fun everyone. sold my stake, I believe earnings/cc let's us down. best of luck to all, glad to see this move upward like we all believed it should. may buy in again later
  • Weekly Bollingers. If we start seeing price butt up against the upper band and they begin to separate the shorts had better watch out.Whether near term price is up or down, those of us old timers can watch the short term moves unfold with relative indifference and collect our .25/share every quarter as we await clarity on the long term picture.

  • I see that the analyst are predicting Q2 earnings to be $0.65 ps. Curious as to Bart's and MD's swag. Also, I hope that IR does a better job (THEIR JOB) of explaining the earnings miss for Q1. Reporting a miss due to GAPP ($0.39 vs estimated $0.73) was not understood by most people reading the postings.
  • Assume everyone saw this already, but just in case you didn't ..........

  • Dividend.

Most companies announce their regular dividend a few days before earnings are released (ADA reports August 8th) . In short, at most comapies, the board meets, reviews earnings and then approves the dividend. Thus assume the next dividend will be declaired late next week on August 4th or the following Monday (August 7th)>
  • Short interest in ADES is now 1.6 million shares. Comments?
  • Deal leaks and the ~ 1 million short shares that were added since 3/31 being dumped?
  • Volume and big tick up?

They may prove me wrong yet.

We're back to pre-split 20. Not bad all said.

  • Used my dividends to buy a few shares this morning. Expect others may do the same.

'Clean Coal' Tax Credit Gets a New Bipartisan Push in Senate
A bipartisan group of senators are fired up about clean coal, hoping to expand a tax credit in hopes of spurring investment in the costly technology.
  • US wants U.N. fund to build coal plants
The U.S.will seek to use a United Nations fund designed to aid nations hard
hit by climate change to promote the construction of coal-fired power plants
around the world. The Obama administration donated $1 billion to the so called
Green Climate fund, and the U.S. can now use it's seat on the fund's board to
advance American-energy interests globally, a White House official said. President
Trump, who has announced he is withdrawing the U.S. e Paris climate accord ,
has made clear the U.S. won't be sending any more checks to the fund. But the
U.S. wants to use the board seat to encourage developing countries to build
high-efficiency plants that produce fewer green-house gas emissions than earlier
facilities and construct "clean coal" plants than employ carbon-capture technology
    to strip out even more.
  • Dividend showing up on Yahoo with a yield of 11%. Should get us increased attention with individual investors.
  • This won't move until earnings, barring news of RC deals closing
  • Looks to me like there is an inverse relationship between coal-fired power plant retirements and the value of the remaining ones in regards to their utilization rate.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) allowed the Sabal Trail natural gas pipeline to undergo full operation to carry much-needed gas to Florida.
