    Trading not at all surprising...

You had a move from the mid $9s to the low $11s, in what seemed to be in anticipation of an RC sale announcement. When the announcement was fairly benign, the rally faded and with no immediate good news coming off the earnings call, the stock fell further nearly back to where it started.
Question is whether it finds support back in the mid-upper $9s or if it breaks lower.

$1 share annual dividend & low LT cost basis for core holders will make it difficult for anyone(short/long) wanting to acquire shares
in size w/o paying up markedly.
No idea what the news is that folks are expecting here.
If , however, ADES's financials are bullishly moved
with any BD announcement, so too will their ability to increase dividend or to offer a special dividend as Heath has intimated. Additionally, their ability to add an accretive bolt-on acquisition or to further dress themselves up for sale will increase. Why sell & lock in a capital gain, lose your LT holding period with such improvements? News of this nature could further lock down share availability. Notice how deliberate this move from $9s has been-shares simply are not readily available.

    some numbers.......
assume that Tinuum leases or sells the remaining 13 idle RC units and they operate for 3 years. 60 million tons of coal a year. ADES would receive an additional $256 million and additional royalties of $44 million.

My number one priority with the earnings release & next conference call is to determine whether or not EC is growing at the rate that Heath guided. We all know that the RC business has an expiration date, I want to know if the company does, too, or if it has some sustainable business lines as well. It will be a very interesting to see if they've made any significant EC progress, or if they are fumbling like Tinuum has been.

IRS releases its TAM on refined coal tax credits. This is probably what Heath was talking about a few months ago.

"$9.40 area we may lever up to buyback more"
This statement was made by Heath on Q1 CC.
Just talk or does the company use cash for operations&divvy and also take on debt to buy back more $9.40 shares believing them to be significantly undervalued? Financially irresponsible or brilliant??

Weekly Bollingers. If we start seeing price butt up against the upper band and they begin to separate the shorts had better watch out.Whether near term price is up or down, those of us old timers can watch the short term moves unfold with relative indifference and collect our .25/share every quarter as we await clarity on the long term picture.

I see that the analyst are predicting Q2 earnings to be $0.65 ps. Curious as to Bart's and MD's swag. Also, I hope that IR does a better job (THEIR JOB) of explaining the earnings miss for Q1. Reporting a miss due to GAPP ($0.39 vs estimated $0.73) was not understood by most people reading the postings.
