What is shaking the Ethanol world , under under ?
1. Driving rate is picking up.... but up to now nothing excessive not to keep up with.
2. Based on corn and cane ... corn in high Demand due to China needs
3. Invenotry is low ... industry is switching to alchohol, cut down run rate
4. New Consciousness about CLIMATE!
1. US Corn Dec $6$+ Ethanol $2.34
CONCLUSION : Hold on to your producers!!! Ethaol might be better than STEEL... Luquid Steel !
I sold Covered Calls on this for way out to Jan 2023. Strike price is 85. I figure I was not about to sell this at current price, and it is a core holding now with the dividend. If it does not hit 85 end of next year, I will be happy to keep it. If it does go that high, 85 is a price I would have let it go anyway. Good Luck.
I was able to read into ADM and their sustainable agriculture and biofuel (biodiesel / bioethanol) projects and investments @ecoshares on Instagram. Their balance sheet too showed a 0.2 debt / assets so its a really liquid business model, where even in 2020 they recorded really strong net income. The reviewers only cover firms that reduce climate change or have a sustainable motive for business growth!
ADM is such a GREAT stock! It's totally overlooked, and the growth is accelerating too. Trust me guys, by the time this name becomes mainstream, it'll be well over $100 bucks. This is the place to jump in and HOLD long-term. Accelerating growth, good dividends, and definitely good value. Food inflation is here and it's not going away anytime soon. Global currencies are being decimation causing inflation and the global population is almost 8 billion people. These are HUGE TAILWINDS for ADM!!! BUY!!!
dang i owned this since the 50ish level and sold last week thinking pull back after earnings. in hindsight should of only sold half at most.
Why is Benzinga bashing ADM?
Must be short
I've real hard time researching the selling points of ADM products. E.g. their spices and CULINARY CRAFTEDSM FOOD BASES
I have tried googling.
Can I ask you Americans etc., where are they sold, just everywhere (like a coca cola or so) or what?
Coming from another country, I've personally never heard of this company before now, so trying to do my research and starting with something simple.
A beat on Rev and Income. Should open to a fresh high. Now let's see some volume...
Two notes from EIA and ethanol world :
1. ADM is re-opening two plants.
2. West Coast ( mostly California) refinery demand , per EIA 0407 report, is at 150K barrels per day(bpd). While this up from 120K during Covid, this is +10k bpd above 2019 run rate.
So demand for Ethanol is back to normal.
Challenge is that West Inventory is down 1.7Million gallons, 200Kmgallons down from last week,
and from normal 2.1-2.4M stockage level.
AT run rate of 150K barrels per day. this means that from a supply line level, West coast has less than 11.2 days of supply.
As a whole, Ethanol industry Optimum Goal is to run at a reserve level of 19 days of supply.
This is to accomodate end-to-end issue of production, transporation, stockage, local distribution, peak demand days ...
West coast usually has 14-15 days of supply with normal local production of 15-16K bpd or
660k - 700K gallons per day. SO ethanol stock depleting at a rate of 200K per day is worrisome!
US Ethanol Production, with PEIX California plants down, is in the midwest.
Going down river to ship by boat back to west coast is costly.
Rack price in California is $2.30 per gallon now. I see $2.40-2.50/gallon coming.
AT least one Alto Plant re-opening is ahead. Or should ATMX buy them?
The company had near record net-income during 2020 fiscal year! You're able to get a really good insight into the company @ecoshares on Instagram. They're a private limited company only covering climate change fighting firms!
I have been in this stock since 1996. Never before have I seen things lineup so well for ADM.
I heard about ADM the other day on (
). It’s looking like an interesting play.
New resistance at $61.51. My model is at 90% bullish. Support $58.63.
Just watch volume for confirmation.
You're already on yahoo finance, so look up corn, wheat and crush(long soybeans, short meal and oil) charts. Then wander over to the 2-10 treasury spread, with a final stop at 10 year treasuries. Google China imports of agri commodities. Maybe get a latte to keep you company as you place your buy order for ADM. Or buy some calls, but they are lookin rich to me. Buy and hold. Lever up, buy more, hold more.
Back near 52-week highs. Not a lot of volume or conviction here. Still we are in a good group and better to stay long.
My sell got hit at 62
Only posting because it’s so quiet. Waiting to fill my position on ADM. My average is $55.50 and I really don’t want to jump it up too much until the whole market shows it’s not going to tank. I don’t think globalist leaning administrations are big on creating independently wealthy citizens...

I am a happy ADM investor right now. I can sleep at night owning this and it can help me pay my ever increasing grocery bills as an offset to inflation. Just like being an oil investor, you are happy to see gasoline at $3.00 instead of $2.00 even when its in your own tank. I do wonder how high this can run, given just how long it took to hold 50!! In other words, is everyone thinking we will hit 60, or are there those who think we could actually have a BG here?? I would love to hear thoughts on INGR as well. Good luck!
