    Technical Assessment: Bearish in the Intermediate-TermYet another brutal day for stocks on Wednesday, with some of the major indices making minor corrective closing lows. The S&P 500 got clipped for 4% and is now down almost 18% in 2022. It was the largest one-day decline for the "500" since June 2020. The Nasdaq plummeted 4.7% while the Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) plunged 4.9%. NYSE breadth was -2,512, almost equaling the worst breadth day of -2,626 (from May 9) since the correction started. It was an 88% day when looking at declining volume/total volume and declining issues/total issues on the NYSE. Crude oil also took a big hit, with WTI falling 5% and Brent crude losing 2.6%.
